About the School

A well-equipped school in Yeovil is seeking a technically confident IT Network Technician to help maintain its IT infrastructure and provide reliable support to staff and pupils.

About the Role

You will work alongside the school's IT team to maintain systems and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining network infrastructure, servers and connectivity.

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems.

  • Supporting Windows devices and Microsoft 365.

  • Managing user accounts, access permissions and passwords.

  • Installing and configuring computers, printers and other equipment.

  • Monitoring IT equipment and maintaining technical records.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous IT support or network technician experience.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with Active Directory is advantageous.

  • School-based IT experience is desirable.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
