About the School
A welcoming school in Cirencester is looking for a dependable and practical Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for pupils and staff.
About the Role
You will support the daily operation and maintenance of the school premises.
Responsibilities will include:
Opening and securing the school site.
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Conducting site inspections and reporting defects.
Supporting health and safety procedures.
Preparing rooms and facilities for school events.
Liaising with contractors and monitoring maintenance work.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous caretaking, maintenance or facilities experience.
Practical skills and a proactive approach.
Awareness of health and safety requirements.
Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
School premises experience is desirable.
An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
