A forward-thinking secondary school in Tiptree is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to support its computing department as soon as possible. This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys practical learning, programming and developing students' confidence with technology.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering programming, algorithms and computer systems.

  • Develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Support students with practical tasks and examination preparation.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and digital learning activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong Computer Science subject knowledge.

  • Is confident teaching programming and technical concepts.

  • Can explain complex ideas in an accessible way.

  • Is available to begin at short notice.
