Wayman Education is working with a school in Nottinghamshire seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team.

This is an opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher to deliver engaging History lessons, develop students’ subject knowledge and inspire an interest in the past.

The Role

  • Teach History across the relevant key stages.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student progress and attainment.

  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Contribute to the wider department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching History in a UK secondary school.

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

  • Is committed to supporting students of varying abilities.

  • Is available to start on the agreed date.
