A high-performing secondary school in Leeds is recruiting a Teacher of Science to join its collaborative department. The school promotes a culture of curiosity, strong achievement and continuous professional development.

About the Role

You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You’ll develop pupils’ scientific knowledge and practical skills, supporting them towards successful GCSE outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Teach practical investigations and theoretical content.

  • Develop pupils’ scientific enquiry and analytical skills.

  • Support GCSE revision and examination preparation.

  • Maintain safe laboratory practices and assess pupil progress.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong Science subject knowledge.

  • Experience teaching secondary-age pupils.

  • Confidence delivering practical lessons.

  • A positive, collaborative approach to teaching.
