A well-regarded secondary school in Leeds is looking to appoint a talented Teacher of Mathematics to join its established department. The school is committed to strong academic outcomes and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, developing pupils’ fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills. You’ll support GCSE preparation and use assessment to identify and address gaps in understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured and engaging Mathematics lessons.

  • Teach core mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments and examinations.

  • Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.

  • Monitor progress and contribute to departmental planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.

  • Experience teaching secondary-age pupils.

  • Effective classroom and behaviour management.

  • A commitment to high standards and continued improvement.
