Key Teachers are working in partnership with a school seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is an opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher to deliver engaging DT lessons and support students in developing their practical skills, creativity and subject knowledge.

The Role

  • Teach Design and Technology across relevant key stages.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student progress and attainment.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the wider department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching Design and Technology in a UK secondary school.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

  • Is committed to supporting students of different abilities.

  • Is available to start in January 2027.
