Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join its thriving Science department at a successful school in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for a Biology specialist who is passionate about their subject and wants to inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the living world.

The successful Biology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience and departmental requirements. You will cover a wide range of topics, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, human biology and the principles of living organisms.

The department is committed to providing students with a strong scientific foundation, combining theoretical knowledge with practical investigations and opportunities to develop analytical skills. Experience and Qualifications:

• Biology Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.

• KS5 Biology teaching experience would be advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of the Biology curriculum and examination specifications.

• Recognised teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.

• Confidence delivering practical investigations and theoretical lessons.

• Ability to motivate students and develop scientific curiosity.

• Strong assessment, planning and classroom management skills.
