Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join its successful department at a mixed secondary school in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys bringing Science to life and wants to work in an environment where practical learning, academic progress and student engagement are highly valued.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering a broad range of scientific topics and helping students develop a secure understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress and adapting your teaching to ensure that learners of all abilities are appropriately challenged and supported.

Practical work is an important part of the curriculum, and the school is keen to appoint someone who can use demonstrations and investigations to develop students' curiosity and understanding.

You will also play an important role in preparing students for their GCSE examinations, helping them build confidence and develop effective revision and examination techniques.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.

• Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

• Recognised teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.

• Strong understanding of the secondary Science curriculum.

• Confidence delivering practical and theoretical lessons.

• Ability to differentiate lessons and support students of varying abilities.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Legal right to work in the UK.
