About the Role
Are you passionate about science with a knack for hands-on, practical organization? Join the dynamic Science Department at a highly successful, oversubscribed secondary school in Boston.
Working alongside our teaching staff and Senior Science Technician, you will play a key role in bringing science to life for students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom & Practical Support: Prepare equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons, and assist during practical sessions when needed.
Safety & Compliance: Set up and clear away experiments in line with Health & Safety guidelines, assist with risk assessments, and ensure laboratories remain safe and compliant.
Inventory & Maintenance: Maintain, organize, and order departmental stock and apparatus.
What We’re Looking For
A strong foundation in science (academic background or practical laboratory experience).
Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and high health & safety standards.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced school setting.
Previous experience as a school Science Technician is desirable
