The Opportunity
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 where appropriate. You will deliver engaging lessons that develop numerical fluency, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, helping students approach challenging concepts with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for students of varying abilities.
Explain complex concepts clearly and encourage independent problem-solving.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a focused learning environment.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet different learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and departmental development.
What We're Looking For
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
Can deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that motivate students.
Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
