A secondary school in Ramsey is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its department in January 2027. The school is committed to encouraging participation in sport, developing students' physical confidence and promoting the importance of teamwork, resilience and healthy lifestyles.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical lessons across a variety of sporting activities.

  • Develop students' physical competence, tactical awareness and fitness knowledge.

  • Support theory-based learning and examination preparation where required.

  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs and sporting competitions.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong PE subject knowledge and practical teaching ability.

  • Can deliver safe, inclusive and well-organised lessons.

  • Encourages positive sporting behaviour and participation.

  • Is keen to support the wider sporting life of the school.
