An ambitious secondary school in Saffron Walden is seeking a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department as soon as possible. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, build students' confidence in spoken Spanish and support strong academic progress.

The Role

  • Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop vocabulary, grammar and communication skills.

  • Deliver lessons that strengthen listening, speaking, reading and writing.

  • Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations.

  • Work with colleagues to maintain consistent curriculum delivery.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has confident Spanish language knowledge.

  • Can motivate students and encourage active participation.

  • Uses assessment effectively to support individual progress.

  • Is available to start at short notice.
