A respected secondary school in Oundle is seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join its languages department in January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can inspire students to communicate confidently, develop their understanding of French grammar and encourage an appreciation of international cultures.

The Role

  • Teach French across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver structured lessons covering vocabulary, grammar and communication.

  • Develop students' listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • Prepare GCSE groups for assessments and examinations.

  • Support cultural enrichment and wider language-learning activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong French language knowledge.

  • Can create engaging lessons with opportunities for active communication.

  • Supports students with different levels of ability and confidence.

  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative department.
