About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Teacher for a secondary school in York. This opportunity is suited to a teacher who enjoys helping pupils develop practical digital skills and understand how technology is used across education, business and everyday life.

The School

The school recognises the importance of digital literacy and aims to equip pupils with the skills and confidence needed for a technology-driven future.

The Role

  • Teach ICT and Computing across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering digital applications and technology.

  • Support relevant vocational or GCSE qualifications.

  • Develop pupils' digital literacy, problem-solving and independent learning skills.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with an ICT, Computing or related specialism.

  • Strong practical IT and digital skills.

  • Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.

  • A commitment to engaging and accessible digital education.
