About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking a passionate History Teacher for a secondary school in Hartlepool. The role offers the opportunity to help pupils develop an understanding of the past and its influence on the modern world.

The School

The school aims to provide a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to ask questions, challenge ideas and develop their academic confidence.

The Role

  • Deliver History lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Teach historical events, themes and interpretations.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE History examinations.

  • Develop pupils' research, source evaluation and essay-writing skills.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a History specialism.

  • Strong subject knowledge.

  • Confident classroom management.

  • An engaging and organised approach to teaching.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
