About the Role

Wayman Education is working with secondary schools in Preston seeking an engaging History Teacher. This opportunity is suited to a teacher who enjoys bringing historical events, people and perspectives to life.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering a range of historical periods.

  • Support GCSE examination preparation.

  • Develop pupils' source analysis and extended writing skills.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a History specialism.

  • Strong knowledge of the secondary History curriculum.

  • Effective planning and assessment skills.

  • A passion for historical enquiry and pupil achievement.

Salary

MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
