About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking a motivated PE Teacher for a secondary school in Sunderland. This is an opportunity to encourage pupils to develop sporting ability, confidence and a lifelong interest in physical activity.

The School

The school promotes participation, teamwork and personal achievement through its curriculum and wider extracurricular opportunities.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical lessons across a range of sports.

  • Support GCSE PE theory where required.

  • Encourage positive participation and sportsmanship.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a PE specialism.

  • Experience delivering practical PE lessons.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management.

  • An enthusiastic and inclusive teaching approach.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
