About the Role

Wayman Education is working with secondary schools in Oldham seeking a passionate English Teacher. This opportunity is suited to a teacher who enjoys developing pupils' literacy, analytical thinking and appreciation of literature.

The Role

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop pupils' reading, writing and analytical skills.

  • Support GCSE examination preparation.

  • Encourage pupils to engage confidently with a range of texts.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with an English specialism.

  • Strong knowledge of GCSE English Language and Literature.

  • Confident classroom management.

  • A passion for developing literacy and communication skills.
