About the Role

Wayman Education is working with primary schools in Derby seeking confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced education professional looking to take on greater classroom responsibility.

The School

The schools promote collaborative working and aim to provide pupils with consistent, engaging learning experiences.

The Role

  • Deliver planned lessons and learning activities.

  • Provide class cover when required.

  • Support teachers with planning and pupil progress.

  • Lead small-group interventions and targeted support.

The Ideal Candidate

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Experience supporting primary-aged pupils.

  • Confidence leading learning activities independently.

Salary
