About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking an engaging Religious Education Teacher for a secondary school in Coventry. The role offers an opportunity to encourage pupils to explore different beliefs, values, ethical questions and perspectives.

The School

The school promotes respect, inclusion and thoughtful discussion, providing pupils with opportunities to develop their understanding of different cultures and viewpoints.

The Role

  • Teach RE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons exploring religious beliefs and ethical issues.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE Religious Studies.

  • Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with an RE, RS or Religious Studies specialism.

  • Strong subject knowledge.

  • Confident leading discussions and debates.

  • A commitment to inclusive education.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
