About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher for a secondary school in Nottingham. This is an opportunity for a science specialist who enjoys bringing scientific concepts to life and encouraging pupils to develop a genuine interest in the subject.

The School

The school promotes curiosity, independent learning and a collaborative approach to teaching. The Science Department works to create an engaging curriculum that prepares pupils for further study.

The Role

  • Teach Biology across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical and theory-based lessons.

  • Support GCSE preparation and examination success.

  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet pupil needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a Biology or Science specialism.

  • Confident delivering GCSE Biology.

  • Strong planning and assessment skills.

  • Enthusiasm for practical and investigative learning.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
