The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, Heads of Department and teaching staff to ensure that student information is maintained accurately and that reporting systems operate effectively.

The Role

The Data Manager will oversee the school's student data systems and support the collection, analysis and reporting of academic information. Responsibilities will include maintaining student records, managing assessment data, producing reports and ensuring that information is accessible to relevant members of staff.

The role will involve coordinating data collection points throughout the academic year, supporting examination and assessment reporting, monitoring data accuracy and identifying any inconsistencies. The successful candidate will also assist with generating progress reports, analysing attainment information and preparing data for senior leadership meetings.

Additional responsibilities will include supporting the administration of the school's management information system, responding to staff data queries and ensuring that information is handled securely and confidentially.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in data administration, data management or a similar analytical role. Experience working within a secondary school would be advantageous.

Applicants should have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence working with databases and reporting systems. The ability to analyse information, meet deadlines and communicate findings clearly is essential.
