The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities. French Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

• Teach vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and sentence construction.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments and examinations.

• Use interactive activities and resources to encourage communication in French.

• Introduce students to French-speaking countries and cultural traditions.

• Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning needs.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Encourage confidence and active participation during language activities.

• Contribute to departmental planning and the development of teaching resources.
