A supportive secondary academy in Royston is seeking a French Teacher for a permanent part-time position starting in September 2027. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students to develop their language skills, build confidence in spoken French and encourage an appreciation of French-speaking cultures.

The Role

  • Teach French across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

  • Deliver structured lessons covering vocabulary, grammar and communication.

  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and language enrichment activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong French language knowledge.

  • Can deliver engaging lessons that encourage active participation.

  • Supports students with different levels of confidence and ability.

  • Values teamwork and professional development.
