A welcoming and ambitious school in Andover is looking for an experienced School Business Manager to play a key role in its operational and strategic leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys managing a varied workload and contributing to the effective running of a school.

About the Role

Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will oversee the school's business and operational functions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing school finances, budgets, expenditure and financial reporting.

• Overseeing HR administration, recruitment processes and staff records.

• Coordinating premises management, facilities and health and safety compliance.

• Managing procurement, contracts and relationships with external suppliers.

• Supporting strategic planning and advising senior leaders on operational matters.

• Ensuring school policies and administrative procedures remain compliant.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a School Business Manager or senior school operations role.

• Strong knowledge of school finance, HR and premises management.

• Experience with school finance systems and budget monitoring.

• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
