An ambitious secondary school in Epping is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its successful English department in January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who can inspire students through literature, develop strong communication skills and support learners in achieving excellent academic outcomes.

The Role

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging lessons covering poetry, prose, drama and non-fiction.

  • Develop students' analytical writing, comprehension and examination techniques.

  • Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback to improve attainment.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
