The Role
You will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 where appropriate. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' numerical fluency, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills while encouraging a positive attitude towards the subject.
Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons tailored to different learning needs.
Explain mathematical concepts clearly and encourage independent thinking.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a focused learning environment.
Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and support curriculum development.
What We're Looking For
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
The ability to make challenging concepts accessible and engaging.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting students of all abilities.
