A secondary school in Leighton Buzzard is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its department as soon as possible. The school is looking for someone who can deliver purposeful practical lessons, encourage participation across a range of sports and help students develop resilience, teamwork and an understanding of healthy lifestyles.
The Role
Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver practical lessons that develop physical skills, fitness and tactical awareness.
Adapt activities to meet different needs and abilities.
Assess progress and support students with theory-based learning where required.
Contribute to extracurricular sport and school fixtures where appropriate.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong PE subject knowledge and practical teaching skills.
Can maintain safe, well-organised lessons.
Encourages positive participation, fair play and teamwork.
Is available to start at short notice.

The school encourages students to participate in sport and develop confidence through physical activity. The PE department shares resources and works together to provide a varied and inclusive programme. This fixed-term role offers the chance to support students' progress and contribute to extracurricular activities within an established school.
