A secondary academy in Hertford is seeking a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join its team as soon as possible. The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons on algorithms, programming, data representation and computer systems.

  • Develop students' logical reasoning and independent problem-solving.

  • Prepare GCSE classes for practical tasks and written examinations.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and digital enrichment activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has confident subject knowledge in Computer Science.

  • Can break down complex technical concepts into accessible steps.

  • Creates structured lessons that balance explanation and practical application.

  • Is available to begin at short notice.
