The Opportunity
You will teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential opportunities to teach KS5 where appropriate. You will deliver engaging lessons that develop students' design skills, practical knowledge and ability to solve problems creatively.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons.
Organise practical activities that develop students' technical skills and creativity.
Assess student work and provide feedback to support progress.
Maintain a positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
Ensure practical lessons follow relevant health and safety procedures.
Work with colleagues to develop resources and support curriculum delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
Can deliver engaging lessons that balance practical work with theoretical learning.
Demonstrates effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
Is committed to helping students build confidence and achieve their potential.
