An ambitious secondary academy in Thetford is seeking a motivated Spanish Teacher to join its languages department as soon as possible. This is an opportunity for a teacher who can make language learning engaging and help students develop the confidence to communicate in Spanish while building a strong foundation for future study.

The Role

  • Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver structured lessons in grammar, vocabulary and communication.

  • Develop students' confidence in speaking and understanding spoken Spanish.

  • Assess progress and provide practical feedback on written and oral work.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and cultural enrichment activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong Spanish language skills and subject knowledge.

  • Can create purposeful lessons that support a range of abilities.

  • Builds positive relationships and promotes active participation.

  • Is ready to start at short notice.
