The Role

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan engaging lessons that develop analytical writing, comprehension and communication.

  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments through effective modelling and feedback.

  • Adapt teaching to support different abilities and learning needs.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and wider literacy initiatives.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

  • Can motivate students and build positive professional relationships.

  • Uses assessment to identify learning gaps and improve progress.

  • Is committed to inclusive teaching and ongoing professional development.
