A well-established school in High Wycombe is seeking a dependable Transport and Minibus Coordinator to help manage its daily transport arrangements. The role combines practical organisation with a strong focus on pupil safety, vehicle checks and reliable communication with staff and families.

About the Role

• Coordinate school transport schedules and daily minibus requirements.

• Arrange transport for trips, activities and other school events.

• Maintain vehicle checklists, service records and relevant documentation.

• Monitor vehicle maintenance requirements and report faults promptly.

• Liaise with drivers, school staff and external transport providers.

• Ensure transport arrangements follow school procedures and safety requirements.

• Assist with bookings, schedules and administrative records.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous transport coordination, logistics or fleet administration experience is essential.

• Experience working in a school or education setting is highly desirable.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Confident using spreadsheets, email and scheduling systems.

• A sound understanding of vehicle safety and record keeping.

• A full UK driving licence and minibus driving experience would be advantageous, depending on the duties required.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
