We are recruiting a School Cleaner for a permanent position at a school in Watford. The role involves helping to maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment for pupils and staff through regular cleaning and careful use of equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean designated classrooms, corridors, offices and shared spaces.

• Maintain the cleanliness of toilets and washrooms.

• Empty bins and transfer waste to the appropriate disposal points.

• Replenish toiletries and other supplies when needed.

• Follow health and safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Keep equipment clean, check for faults and store it safely.

• Report hazards, damage or maintenance issues to the cleaning supervisor.
