About the Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Design and Technology lessons.

• Teaching design processes, material properties and practical production techniques.

• Organising workshop activities and ensuring tools and equipment are used safely.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.

• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations.

• Working with colleagues to develop resources and support curriculum delivery.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.

• Confidence delivering practical lessons and maintaining workshop safety.
