A high-performing secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a Teacher of History to join its team from January 2027. This is an opportunity to help pupils explore the past, develop critical thinking and build the analytical skills needed to succeed across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging History lessons across relevant key stages.

  • Develop pupils’ historical knowledge, source analysis and essay-writing skills.

  • Plan lessons that support progress and cater for different learning needs.

  • Assess attainment and provide clear feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong subject knowledge in History.

  • Effective planning, communication and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to encouraging curiosity and academic achievement.
