Salary/Hours: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience | Full-time

Wayman Education is looking for a motivated PE teacher for a thriving secondary school in Telford. The school is seeking someone who can deliver inclusive, energetic lessons and help pupils develop physical competence, resilience and teamwork.

The School

The school values participation, personal development and the contribution that physical education makes to pupils' confidence and wellbeing.

The Role

  • Deliver practical and theoretical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Teach a variety of sporting activities and develop pupils' technical skills.

  • Assess performance and provide feedback to support improvement.

  • Maintain safe lesson routines, equipment standards and positive behaviour.

  • Support sports clubs, competitions or extracurricular activities where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS and a relevant PE teaching qualification.

  • Has experience delivering secondary PE lessons.

  • Can manage practical lessons safely and confidently.

  • Encourages participation from pupils with varied sporting interests and abilities.

  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes to departmental priorities.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience and the school's pay arrangements.
