Maths Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teach key topics including algebra, geometry, statistics, number and ratio.

• Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.

• Adapt lessons to support students who require additional guidance while challenging higher-attaining learners.

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.

• Develop students' problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning and independent learning.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a purposeful classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share teaching resources.

• Contribute to revision sessions and extracurricular academic support where appropriate.
