The Role

• Teach the Year 6 curriculum and plan purposeful sequences of learning.

• Prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments through effective teaching and revision.

• Support pupils' transition to secondary school through appropriate preparation and communication.

The Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching upper Key Stage 2 or is confident in taking on the year group.

• Understands assessment requirements and effective preparation strategies.

• Can maintain high expectations while supporting pupils' wellbeing.

• Works effectively with colleagues, families and support staff.
