Wayman Education is looking for a versatile Humanities Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons in History and RE, helping pupils build subject knowledge and develop analytical skills.

The Role

  • Teach History and RE across KS3 and KS4, in line with subject expertise.

  • Plan lessons that promote enquiry, interpretation and evaluation.

  • Develop pupils' extended writing and critical-thinking skills.

  • Prepare pupils for relevant assessments and examinations.

  • Monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback.

  • Work with colleagues to maintain a consistent and engaging curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching History and RE, or the ability to teach both subjects.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

  • Can adapt teaching to support different learning needs.

  • Is collaborative, organised and committed to pupil progress.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience and the school's pay policy.
