We are recruiting an enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to join a school in Newcastle from January 2027.
This role would suit a dedicated educator who can deliver engaging PE lessons, encourage participation in physical activity and help pupils develop their sporting skills, confidence and teamwork.
🏃 What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering practical and theory-based PE lessons.
Developing pupils’ physical skills, fitness and understanding of sport.
Encouraging participation, teamwork and positive sporting attitudes.
Monitoring progress and supporting pupils of different abilities.
Promoting safe practice during lessons and activities.
👤 What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education.
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
A positive approach to inclusion and pupil engagement.
The ability to motivate pupils and work collaboratively with colleagues.
