About the School

A well-established school in Marlborough is looking for an organised Transport Coordinator to support the administration of pupil transport arrangements, daily schedules and related enquiries. The role would suit someone with strong coordination skills who can manage changing arrangements while maintaining accurate records and clear communication with families and transport providers.

About the Role

You will help coordinate transport logistics and ensure that arrangements are communicated clearly and updated when circumstances change.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating transport schedules and maintaining accurate route information.

• Liaising with transport providers, drivers, parents and school staff.

• Recording pupil transport requirements and authorised changes.

• Responding to transport enquiries and helping resolve scheduling issues.

• Maintaining relevant documentation and monitoring service arrangements.

• Escalating delays, safety concerns and incidents through the appropriate procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous transport coordination, logistics or administrative experience.

• Experience in a school or pupil transport setting is advantageous.

• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage changing priorities.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• A careful, responsible approach to pupil safety and confidential information.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
