We are looking for a committed Teacher of Geography to join an outstanding-rated school in Stockport from January 2027.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about geography and able to deliver thought-provoking lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of the world, environmental issues and the relationships between people and places.

🗺️ Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons.

  • Developing pupils’ geographical knowledge and enquiry skills.

  • Encouraging critical thinking and independent research.

  • Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.

  • Maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment.

👤 What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography.

  • Effective lesson planning and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

  • The ability to engage and motivate pupils.
