Wayman Education is seeking an energetic Teacher of PE for a well-resourced secondary school in Leicester. This fixed-term opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys practical teaching, promotes healthy lifestyles and can encourage students of all abilities to participate confidently in physical education.

The School

The school aims to provide a balanced education that supports academic achievement, wellbeing and personal development. It values teamwork, positive relationships and opportunities for students to take part in sport and physical activity.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical lessons across a range of sports and activities.

  • Support students in developing fitness, technique and teamwork.

  • Monitor student progress and maintain high standards of participation and behaviour.

  • Assist with extracurricular sport and school fixtures where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience delivering secondary PE lessons.

  • Is confident teaching a range of practical activities.

  • Can motivate students with different levels of sporting ability.

  • Demonstrates strong organisation and classroom management.

Salary

MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
