Wayman Education is looking for an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join an ambitious secondary school in Nottingham. The school is seeking a teacher who can bring languages to life, encourage cultural curiosity and inspire students to develop their confidence in communicating in another language.

The School

The school promotes high expectations, positive learning habits and a broad curriculum. It values teachers who bring energy to their subject and help students recognise the benefits of language learning beyond the classroom.

The Role

  • Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

  • Deliver interactive lessons that encourage communication and independent learning.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations and monitor their progress.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and language-related enrichment activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong subject knowledge in French, Spanish or both.

  • Has experience teaching MFL at secondary level.

  • Can build students' confidence in spoken and written language.

  • Is creative, organised and committed to high standards.

Salary

MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
