A village primary school near Haverhill is looking for a nurturing Reception Teacher to join its early-years team. The school is seeking someone who can create a stimulating classroom, encourage curiosity and provide children with a strong foundation for future learning.
The Role
Lead a Reception class in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Plan a balance of adult-led activities and purposeful play.
Develop early communication, phonics, number and personal skills.
Observe children’s learning and record progress.
Work with teaching assistants and families to support individual development.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience in early years or a strong understanding of EYFS practice.
Creates a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Can adapt activities to suit children’s different developmental stages.
Communicates clearly and sensitively with parents and carers.
