Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

A comprehensive secondary school in Aylesbury is looking for a motivated PE Teacher to deliver a broad and engaging physical education curriculum. The school wants a practitioner who can encourage participation, develop practical skills and promote positive attitudes towards physical activity.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3–KS4.

  • Deliver practical sessions across a range of sports and physical activities.

  • Develop pupils’ understanding of teamwork, tactics and performance.

  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Support extracurricular activities and fixtures where appropriate.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong PE subject knowledge and practical teaching skills.

  • Can organise safe, inclusive and purposeful lessons.

  • Encourages resilience, teamwork and positive sporting behaviour.

  • Is committed to supporting pupils with different levels of sporting experience.
