About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing, and dedicated Teacher of Business & Economics to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' secondary school and Sixth Form in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Starting in January 2027, this full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to teach highly motivated students across Key Stage 4 (GCSE Business) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Business Studies & A-Level Economics). This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for a supportive, top-tier academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in GCSE Business, A-Level Business Studies, and A-Level Economics.

• Maintain high academic standards, preparing students effectively for external examinations and coursework components.

• Track student progress, implement targeted academic interventions, and stretch high-attaining pupils aiming for top university placements.

• Contribute to departmental enrichment initiatives, such as Young Enterprise, economics clubs, and external business competitions.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching equivalent.

• A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a closely related field.

• Proven ability to teach Business and/or Economics up to Key Stage 5 / A-Level.

• Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and passion for commercial/economic education.
