Wayman Education works with dedicated teachers to identify opportunities where they can make a positive difference to pupils' learning and development. We are looking for a practical, enthusiastic teacher who can promote healthy eating, food science and independent life skills.

The School

The Role

  • Teach Food Preparation and Nutrition across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical cooking lessons alongside food science and nutrition theory.

  • Support pupils with coursework, practical assessments and examination preparation.

  • Maintain safe, organised and hygienic food preparation facilities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with relevant Food Technology or Food Preparation and Nutrition experience.

  • Confident managing practical lessons and food safety requirements.

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Passionate about developing pupils' practical knowledge and independence.
